Once you are cleared by Dr. Gmora to travel, you will be able to head home for the reminder of your recovery. Dr Gmora and the Sleeve Clinic team will be available to you around the clock for any questions or concerns while you are healing.
You should plan to stay for 3 nights after surgery. You will attend The Sleeve Clinic on day 1 and day 2 post-op to check in with Dr. Gmora and the Sleeve Clinic team.
Your surgery will be performed by Dr. Gmora. It usually takes less than 60 minutes including including anesthesia.
Our patients come from all over British Columbia, other provinces and even outside of Canada to get their Sleeve surgery! You should plan to arrive 1 day before your operation so that you can get settled into your hotel and the necessary pre-operation check-ins can happen with Dr. Gmora.

It typically takes 2-4 weeks from the time of your first consultation. It is critical that we properly prepare you prior to surgery.
